Property Management – Senior Practitioner

Β£44,331 – Β£47,532 per annum

The purpose of this role is to effectively support a team of professional staff to ensure a high-quality, customer-focused tenancy management service to residents in temporary accommodation. This includes tenants within the Council\’s own housing stock, as well as accommodation provided by external partners such as Local Space.

Following a service re-design, this role will report to the Property Management Services Manager, overseeing 10 housing professionals, including this post. You will need to deputise in their absence, ensuring robust performance management and accountability across the service, aiming to deliver a supportive housing function that empowers residents to manage and maintain their accommodation. A strong background working with policy and procedures to align service delivery is highly desirable.

The Service will focus on effective tenancy management, prioritising resident empowerment and customer service. With team expansion, there is a drive to become more customer-focused in case management, working in partnership with colleagues across services.
