This job does not support homeworking as you will be working on site learning and supporting your work colleagues. As an apprentice at Newham you will receive:

You must have:

  • Good communication skills

  • A commitment to undertake and complete a qualification via a structured apprenticeship training programme

The Training: You will be undertaking a professional apprenticeship standard. Details of which can be found below. Business Administration Level 3. To successfully complete the Apprenticeship, not only must you meet the performance standards required, but you will also need to meet the off-the-job learning requirements. If you don’t already have GCSE in Maths and English or equivalent you may need to complete Functional Skills training in Maths and English as part of your apprenticeship.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Attending all classes, learning and developing practical skills
  • Participating in classes and workshops on and offsite
  • Observing all employee processes and procedures
  • Completing tests and assignments
  • Delivering presentations to colleagues and other stakeholders

You should be well-organised, flexible, and willing to assist wherever possible.
