The London Borough of Newham is seeking a proactive Legal Assistant to join the Legal & Governance team, based at Newham's Dockside offices near London City Airport. The role supports six legal teams with 80 fee earners, handling day-to-day legal tasks including research, bundle preparation, and liaison with courts and external barristers.

You will maintain case data in the service’s case management system, manage priorities, and work in a hybrid model with occasional attendance at Havering.
