What the Job Involves
As a Building Safety Project Manager at Newham Council, you will be integral to ensuring the safety and compliance of the Council’s housing assets. Your role involves managing the development and submission of Building Safety Case Files and Building Assessment Certificate applications to the Building Safety Regulator. You will lead inspections of high-rise and other buildings, manage remediation processes, and coordinate closely with internal and external stakeholders including fire engineers and surveyors. The preparation and delivery of safety-related communications and reports, maintaining a comprehensive understanding of building safety requirements, and supporting data management for building safety information are key components of your responsibilities.
