An opportunity has arisen for a keen and enthusiastic officer to join the Pollution (Noise & Nuisance) team in the Regulatory Services Partnership.

In order to be considered you must have extensive knowledge and experience of responding to statutory nuisance complaints under the Environmental Protection Act 1990 and dealing with construction sites under the Control of Pollution Act 1974.

You must have excellent communication and customer care skills, the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines. Good ICT skills are also crucial to this role and it's important that you can write reports and letters.

The ability to work well as part of a team as well as on your own initiative is essential. The post is based in our Wandsworth offices and this role entails working a shift pattern rota. You will be required to work evenings and weekends from Thursday to Sunday as part of the shift pattern.

A full driving licence is essential. This is a demanding role and the successful candidate will be well organised and able to work flexibly. Good interpersonal and organisational skills are essential.
