Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of families and children with complex needs.
- Deliver statutory safeguarding services and support early help.
- Work with partner agencies and colleagues to safeguard children effectively.
- Apply the Effective Support for Families in Merton framework to act quickly in families’ lives.
- Lead and support best practice, particularly in an Experienced Social Worker role.
- Participate in reflective supervision and take advantage of enhanced training in systemic practice, Motivational Interviewing, Restorative, and trauma‑informed practice.
Qualifications
- Qualified social worker registered with Social Work England.
- Relevant experience in statutory safeguarding services.
- Experience delivering safeguarding services with a commitment to ongoing learning and development in children’s social care.
- Capability to manage complex caseloads and work in a fast‑paced environment.
Employment Details
- Positions: Social Worker and Experienced Social Worker.
- Employment is on a rota basis, with specified days in the office and provision of guidance for early help and statutory services.
- This role does not offer international sponsorship.
- Interviews will take place on 2nd and 7th July.
