An exciting new two-year fixed term opportunity has arisen for a Family Hub Participation and Engagement Manager.
About The Role
The role of the Family Hub Participation and Engagement Manager is an important component of Early Help delivery in Merton to ensure that we include the voice of children, parents/carers and communities in our Best Start Family Hubs. This role will lead on producing the Family Hub Participation Plan that outlines the approach to co-production and collaboration, including promotion of meaningful participation of children and young people and families at all levels, including community groups and agencies that support them. The aim of this role is to oversee and coordinate the development and implementation of family and community participation focusing on all aspects of the participation in the Best Start Family Hub and Best Start in Life framework and develop parent/carer champions and community volunteers to support us to reach families and groups that are underrepresented.
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has experience in coordinating the design and delivery of family and community engagement and participation programmes.
- Has excellent relational engagement and communication skills to engage with a wide range of groups.
- Demonstrates excellent organisational skills.
