We are seeking an experienced practitioner to lead our Nursery and Preschool room at our setting in Mitcham. This is a term‑time only position working 35 hours per week.

Qualifications

  • Level 3 Childcare qualification
  • 3 years or more post qualification experience
  • Recent experience of leading a team within a childcare setting
  • Sound understanding of Early Years Foundation Stage
  • Knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding and Child Protection
  • Ability to plan and deliver an engaging and interesting curriculum to all children

Responsibilities

  • Lead the team in the room
  • Deputise for the Manager when required, taking full responsibility for the setting in the absence of the Manager
  • Support children with SEND and build and maintain strong relationships with children, parents, colleagues and other professionals
