We’re reimagining what community engagement looks like in Merton, creating a bold, modern service that’s inclusive, innovative, representative, and resident centred.
We’re looking for a skilled and experienced Consultation and Engagement Lead whose integrity, ambition and ability to influence will help us to reshape consultation and engagement at London Borough of Merton. You will have a passion for community engagement and strong experience delivering public sector or local government consultations.
This role is integral to delivering the consultation and engagement strategy, you\’ll champion and drive opportunities for democratic participation, co-creation, and lead the development of innovative engagement approaches.
You’ll oversee a network of engagement practitioners across the council. You will play a critical role in ensuring our consultations and engagement mechanisms are inclusive, representative, and compliant with legislation and statutory guidance.
