Introduction

Can you handle the truth? We are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Tenancy Audit Officer to work within our Tenancy Audit Team. You will be tackling social housing fraud and supporting the Council to house those in most need.

What\’s the role?

Visiting council properties to establish who lives there and whether the property is abandoned or sublet. You will be reviewing different information to establish the true nature of the tenancy. Where a breach of the tenancy exists, to serve the relevant legal notices, and attend court to give evidence. The aim is to recover properties so they can be re-let in line with the Council\’s allocation policy.

What we\’re looking for

You will be passionate about dealing with breaches of tenancy. Be confident with an ability to stay calm in challenging situations. Have excellent communication skills and the ability to write accurate reports with an attention to detail. Capable of working with others and great people skills. Track record of delivering results and high customer satisfaction.

Location

The job is primarily on site i.e. across the borough of Lewisham , but we operate a hybrid approach where you will be required to work in the office and from home on a regular basis.

Β£37,509- Β£38,637 per annum (Scale 6)
