About the Team: Active Lambeth is the leisure service run by Lambeth Council and operates from 8 locations across the borough. There are four leisure centres with swimming pools, sports halls, an ice rink, outdoor sports facilities and standalone lifestyle and fitness centres, as well as Family Leisure Zones, Karaoke booths, Climbing Walls and treatment rooms. Active Lambeth offers a range of activities in its leisure centres and providing excellent customer service is integral to ensuring customers get the most out of the wide range of services on offer, ranging from booking a massage to enjoying karaoke or the multi-sport simulator.
About the Role: The Duty Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the facilities at either a wet or dry site on weekends, ensuring they are opened and closed in time with operating procedures and that they are clean and safe for both members and customers, and guaranteeing the highest standards of service. This includes the allocation of and supervision of staff to enable the smooth operation of the facilities. They will support the Management Team as required by working flexibly at any leisure facility, covering shifts during core hours and evenings in the week.
