About the Team

We already have a fantastic team that champions the customer experience for our residents, visitors, and businesses. We use industry-leading systems and innovative technology to keep our streets safe, enforce against anti-social behaviour and provide a range of parking options for people who need access to kerbside space.

We embrace flexible working and have a track record of developing staff, enabling them to progress into higher-graded posts. Almost 80% of the team are on a higher grade than when they joined the service.

About the Role

The role requires you to process informal challenges and representations received against Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs) or the removal of vehicles in line with Lambeth policies and procedures and in accordance with any legislative responsibilities. You will be required to represent parking in a positive light. Assist in the management of the debt recovery processes and provide a high-quality of customer service to meet necessary productivity and quality standards.

You must have proven experience working in a customer service environment with high productivity demands.

To be considered for interview, your CV and supporting statement will clearly evidence:

  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven experience of working within a busy, target-driven team.
  • Evidence of responding to informal challenges and representations for Penalty Charge Notices.
  • Knowledge of legislation and statutory processes that need to be followed across the parking portfolio.
  • To have at least 2 years of experience working in the parking industry.
