About the TeamThe team is based in the heart of Lambeth and our aim is to provide excellent customer services to our residents and all key stakeholders. Supportive teamwork is the ethos of our team as well as supporting our vulnerable residents. Keeping our estates safe and clean is important, and we do this by working in collaboration with other teams and contractors. Continuous professional development is encouraged and is supported by mentoring and coaching opportunities.

About the RoleThis role is a generic role and requires onsite inspections, fire risk assessments and contract monitoring, face‐to‐face vulnerable surveys and dealing with hoarding cases. Responding to customer queries and dealing with complaints and members\’ enquiries. Carry out tenancy management matters, tenancy audits, estate walk‐abouts, estate surgeries and attendance at evening tenant and resident meetings with stakeholders and any associated tasks that relate to your area of responsibility.

Contributing to the development of sustainable communities and delivering an integrated generic housing service to tenants and leasehold customers.

Working closely with other teams and key stakeholders to achieve sustainable tenancies. Providing a proactive and customer‐focused housing management service across a designated area.

Ensuring that the Council fulfils its legal and contractual obligations to tenants and leaseholders and taking the appropriate action to ensure our estates are safe and well maintained, as well as making sure all remedial work and post inspections are carried out.

Acting as a regular and visible presence on estates, and providing advice, information and reports on any housing management matter.

Supporting the Neighbourhood Housing Team to deliver the Vulnerable Residents Offer.
