The Lambeth Adult Learning Service provides inclusive, high-quality education, training, and skills development for adults in community venues across the borough. Our learners face barriers to learning and work, and we work with commissioned partners to deliver opportunities that help Lambeth residents gain skills and qualifications to improve their lives and gain meaningful employment. As the Teaching and Learning Lead, you will work with tutors across Lambeth Adult Learning to further develop professional practice. You will join a diverse, supportive Adult Community Learning Service with tutors committed to providing the best possible experience for learners and open to professional support and development. You will complement our CPD offer through coaching and mentoring on a one-to-one or small group basis. Your primary responsibility will be to collaborate with tutors and managers to build on innovative teaching approaches, enhancing outstanding and inclusive teaching, learning, and assessment.

A strong practitioner who delivers exceptional experiences for learners, you will enthuse and inspire the tutors you work with. You will be collaborative, bringing knowledge to develop pedagogy and trial new ideas and approaches. It may involve watching and modelling teaching, team teaching, and action research. We are seeking an inspiring Teaching and Learning Lead committed to tackling inequality and shaping the role to make a real difference to learners in Lambeth.
