This is a fantastic opportunity to join a lively, passionate, and welcoming team. The team consists of four members, each responsible for a dedicated area of the borough.
The Gas Compliance Officer plays a crucial role in Lambeth’s Compliance Team. The post holder will act as the lead point of contact for gas servicing issues within a specified housing area and will attend court on behalf of the Council under delegated duty to obtain warrants for gas entry.
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring the Borough’s gas safety compliance.
- Attending court proceedings to obtain gas entry warrants.
- Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to address gas servicing matters.
Qualifications / Skills:
- Proven front‑line experience working within a team of four in a role closely related to Gas Compliance.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work within a team.
- Good attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.
- Experience working with customers, stakeholders, members, and colleagues.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
