You possess a thorough and up-to-date knowledge of property law including residential and commercial conveyancing, as well as development agreements. In this role, you will support the Senior Property Lawyer by providing high-quality, cost-effective property-related legal advice to the Council. Duties include ensuring excellent service through advising on matters of property law such as residential and commercial conveyancing, development agreements, landlord and tenant matters, and compulsory purchase. You will prepare necessary legal documents and maintain effective client relationships. Additionally, you will be tasked with providing legal advice to various committees, assisting in staff recruitment, and presenting complex legal arguments effectively. Continuous professional development and technology usage within the team will be supported as well.
