About the Role

The post holder will work under the direction of a Commercial Manager, assisting with a range of cost management activities relating to procurement, forensic auditing, processing contractor applications for payment and preparation of interim valuations. The post holder will act as a commercial interface between service providers and the business and will assist with implementing commercial requirements of various projects/contracts, ensuring that the Council achieves best value for money expended.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge and experience of construction and/or housing maintenance contracts with expertise in quantity surveying.
  • Experience reporting on data using Power BI and creating cost models.
  • Excellent numeracy, analytical, and presentation skills.
