About The Team

The Public Realm and Safety Service plays a vital role in keeping Lambeth safe, confident, and prepared. Our team leads on public safety, emergency planning, CCTV operations, and Corporate Health & Safety, acting as a central hub for specialist advice, operational leadership, and strategic resilience planning across the council.

We are a collaborative, inclusive and high-performing team that values openness, continuous learning, and innovation. Joining us means being part of a service committed to excellence, community impact and professional integrity. You will work alongside talented colleagues, have access to a broad range of development opportunities and contribute to shaping a service that supports both residents and frontline council teams.

About The Role

Lambeth expects its staff to show openness, honesty and commitment, and, of course, to deliver results. This post will be expected to work collaboratively across Public Realm & Safety to deliver the outcomes placed upon the division, ensuring flexibility of approach and a "can do" attitude.
