Turn data into impact for families. We’re recruiting a Data Analyst to deliver high quality reporting and insight for our Families First Programme—helping us target early help effectively and reduce demand on statutory services.

About the Role

You are a Data Analyst who understands that insight drives change. You have worked with data in a local authority or public service context and are confident navigating complex datasets across children’s services, education, health, and partners. You can visualise and explain data to non‑technical audiences and care about using evidence to improve outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Strong analytical capability, with experience handling multi‑agency or public sector datasets
  • Confidence using tools such as Excel, Power BI, SQL (or similar) to analyse and present data
  • Experience producing dashboards and insight that inform operational and strategic decisions
  • Ability to interrogate data and translate insight clearly for frontline teams to senior leaders
  • Focus on impact, linking data to outcomes for children and families

What you’ll do

  • Produce monthly dashboards and statutory/corporate returns
  • Build analytical models to spot trends, risks, and opportunities
  • Improve data quality and definitions across systems
  • Translate complex analysis into practical, accessible insights
