About the Team:

The Practice Evaluation and Audit and Complaints Teams sits within the Quality Assurance service. The team is accountable to Strategic Leaders in ensuring there is a detailed line of sight on areas of strength and areas for improvement in the delivery of services across the Division. The Practice Evaluation and Audit and Complaints Teams work collaboratively with the Social Care Academy to identify required learning and development activity on both an individual, service and multi-agency level.

About the Role:

This role focuses on driving practice excellence across Children’s Social Care through audit, quality assurance, complaints management, workforce development, and service improvement. It involves conducting and quality assuring audits, analysing performance and complaints data, leading learning and improvement activities, supporting practitioner development, coordinating multi-agency assurance work, preparing for inspections, and ensuring learning from audits, reviews and complaints translates into improved outcomes for children, young people and families. It also includes providing strategic advice, delivering training, contributing to governance processes, and supporting continuous service improvement across the organisation.
