Annual salary: £57,495 - £60,633
Working Pattern: Full time, 35 hours per week

The Role You'll lead a team of officers in either our proactive or reactive service, driving performance and delivering strong regulatory outcomes.
You will:
Lead, motivate and develop a high-performing team
Drive inspections, investigations and enforcement action
Take ownership of complex cases, prosecutions and appeals
Act as a technical expert in housing legislation
Use data and insight to improve performance and outcomes
Lead on shaping policy, procedures, systems and service improvements
Support delivery of new powers under the Renters' Rights Act 2025
About You You are a confident, solutions-focused leader with:
Environmental Health qualifications and experience in the regulation of the Private Rented Sector
Management or supervisory experience
A strong track record in enforcement and complex casework
Excellent knowledge of key housing legislation
The ability to lead teams, make decisions and drive results
Strong communication skills and a resident-focused mindset
