As an Electrical Inspector, you will be a vital part of a dedicated team of electrical engineers focused on the residential social housing sector. You will be handling the cyclical replacement of electrical services across approximately 2,500 residential blocks, servicing over 35,000 homes, including over 200 high-rise buildings. Your expertise will contribute to maintaining high safety and quality standards. Ideal candidates will have a background in electrical contracting or consultancy within the sector.
Typical tasks include conducting surveys on low and high-rise buildings, report writing, and managing condition and feasibility reports. You will perform inspections to record electrical work progress, address service issues, and liaise with project managers and engineers. Customer care is crucial as you will communicate with residents and might occasionally work out of hours. You will work closely with colleagues and stakeholders such as project managers and contractors, ensuring quality and standards in snagging processes and handovers.
