About The Role
You will help to deliver the best possible visitor experience at Hogarth’s House and Boston Manor House. This team will deliver a high-quality experience to all visitors and will provide the highest standards of service for our visitors ensuring health and safety policy and procedures are adhered to at all times. You will actively seek opportunities to try new things and improve on the systems and processes already in place. You will be a key holder and responsible for cash handling.
About The Team You’ll Be Working In
You will be part of the historic houses visitor experience team reporting to the Senior Visitor Experience Officer. Visitor experience is a key part of the historic houses team responsible for welcoming and assisting visitors to engage with Learning Managers, Volunteer Manager and Senior Historic Houses Manager’s work on public programming, collections care and school and family learning programmes at Hogarth’s House and Boston Manor House. The historic houses team is a part of the wider Culture Team within the London Borough of Hounslow.
About You
- An interest/knowledge of historical buildings and/or heritage.
- Able to work independently and within a team.
- Able to communicate both verbally and in writing to a wide range of audiences.
- Willingness to learn new skills.
Qualifications: Educated to A-Level or certified level in relevant occupational qualifications or can demonstrate equivalent experience.
