This is a senior role leading on community equipment services, making sure it supports wider council priorities and delivers real outcomes for people and communities. The role involves setting the direction for long‑term change, overseeing commissioning, and using data and market insight to make informed decisions about spend and service improvement.
About The Team You’ll Be Working In
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Strategic Commissioner / Contract Lead to lead the commissioning and contract management of Community Equipment services. This key role will ensure the delivery of high quality, value for money equipment services that support people to live independently, improve outcomes and reduce health and care inequalities across the system.
About You
You are a strategic, confident, and collaborative with a strong track record of leading and managing complex contracts in a health and/or social care environment. You bring a clear understanding of Community Equipment services and their role in supporting independence, prevention, and integrated care delivery.
