About The Role This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the Standards, Practice and Partnerships team as a Professional Lead Adviser for Standards and Inclusion.

In this role, you’ll be primarily working as a school improvement partner for a range of schools and will have the opportunity to develop your skills in providing evidence‑based advice and support.

Professional Lead Schools Adviser’s work is rooted in building constructive, professional relationships with school leaders, positioning themselves as trusted partners in the improvement journey.

Professional Leads are tasked with offering both encouragement and uncompromising external challenge, drawing on evidence to evaluate school performance against the expectations of the current Ofsted framework.

Through professional dialogue and close analysis of a wide range of evidence, they highlight both strengths and key areas requiring development.

Where further expertise or intervention is needed, Professional Leads facilitate access to additional support and resources, ensuring schools are well placed to continue improving outcomes for pupils.
