About The Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join our Systems Operations Team as a Senior Systems Training and Support Officer. In this role, youâll train and support the end users of our social care and education systems, working closely with stakeholders, including social work team managers, system champions, colleagues in Digital and IT, and external providers.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Creating and delivering training materials
- Managing user issues raised on our service desk system
- Root cause analysis
- Liaising with colleagues and providers to resolve issues
- Supporting with system testing
As part of the Digital and IT team, youâll help maintain the integrity and stability of these critical applications, supporting the #1Hounslow transformation programme and the Digital Strategy. As a Digital and IT ambassador, youâll drive change, focus on outcomes, and put Hounslow residents at the heart of our decisions. Youâll also have the opportunity to enhance your organisational skills and develop specialist knowledge in social care systems.
About The Team Youâll Be Working In
Youâll be joining the Systems Operations Team, part of our Digital and IT department. We play a crucial role in supporting the councilâs social care and education systems, ensuring they run smoothly through day-to-day support, training, maintenance, and development. Our key objective is to provide frontline workers with reliable and effective systems so they can continue delivering high-quality services to residents. By maintaining and improving these critical applications, we help ensure that social care and education professionals have the tools they need to make a real difference in the community.
