Lift Kingsley School seeks a primary registered teacher with expertise in special educational needs, ideally focusing on communication and interaction, to lead a brand‑new resource provision for students with communication and interaction needs. The role includes line managing the intervention provision and implementing a new teaching programme for approximately 18 KS3 students, with plans to expand to KS4 within two years.

Responsibilities
- Lead the design, launch and delivery of the resource provision for students with communication and interaction needs.
- Develop and facilitate a broad and balanced curriculum and provide high‑quality teaching and support for pupils with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
- Ensure personalised learning, support inclusion within mainstream classrooms, and collaborate with staff, families and external professionals.
- Manage a dedicated team of specialists and drive the successful implementation of the provision.
- Play a key role in developing and embedding a provision that makes a real difference and achieves the highest possible outcomes.
Qualifications and Experience
- Primary registered teacher with statutory teaching qualifications.
- Experience in special educational needs with a focus on communication and interaction.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team, and to deliver a curriculum to programme standards.
- Strong commitment to inclusive practice and a track record of supporting pupils with EHCPs.
