This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the Housing Occupational Therapy Team as an Occupational Therapist. The post holder will manage a vast and varied caseload of clients, including those with complex needs and high levels of risk, recommending appropriate and timely interventions. The OT will assess for adaptations and rehousing, working closely with colleagues to achieve the best outcome for clients.
The Housing Occupational Therapy Service is part of the Housing Adaptation Team. We support adults and children with disabilities to achieve greater independence, opportunities, and safety at home. The multidisciplinary team includes Occupational Therapists, Case Workers, Trussed assessors and Surveyors delivering a range of services.
This post offers a rare opportunity to work within a large well-established team of Housing Occupational Therapists and Occupational Therapy Assistants, where we assess for adaptations, rehousing and work on new build developments. Reporting to the Senior Housing Occupational Therapist, the post holder will receive regular clinical supervision and have access to training and CPD opportunities.
About You
- Qualified Occupational Therapist looking for a new and exciting challenge.

Your Skills
- Identify and assess functional needs for adults and children with disability.
- Maintain accurate records and report writing to professional standards.
- Implement eligibility guidance and procedures in relation to provision of equipment, adaptations and alternative housing.
Qualifications
- BSc in OT or equivalent.
- Registered as an OT with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
