Package: Permanent, Full-Time, 36 hours per week.

An exciting opportunity: Mobile Caretaker – Caretaking Team. In this role you will travel between a range of designated sites, carrying out cleaning and caretaking duties within communal areas and ensuring high standards across our estates.

About the Team You’ll Be Working In:

You will be part of our dedicated Caretaking Team within Housing Estates Services. The team works closely with colleagues across Housing, Grounds Maintenance and our Repairs Service to quickly identify and resolve estate issues.

Responsibilities:

  • Carry out cleaning and caretaking duties to a good standard, helping to maintain tidy, safe and well-presented communal areas, using digital platforms to record work.
  • Work well as part of a team and collaborate with colleagues across housing and repairs services.
  • Communicate with residents and colleagues, responding positively to feedback.
  • Follow procedures and work safely, with awareness of health and safety requirements such as COSHH and fire safety.
  • Be reliable, organized and manage workload across different sites, adapting to changing priorities when needed.
  • Travel between locations and carry out physical aspects of the role, including working outdoors and handling equipment.

Qualifications:

  • Basic DBS.
