About The Role
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of our Inward Investment and Local Economy service as the Investment Opportunities Manager. You will be joining a new, proactive inward investment and local economy function to retain and attract businesses to Hounslow. This team will lead the work to boost Hounslow’s profile and lead national and international marketing efforts to enhance our borough's profile and attract investment. This external-facing role provides the gateway for investors in Hounslow, achieved through Hounslow Council’s participation in major events, the creation of tailored investment value propositions, attracting foreign direct investment, relocation of businesses, and supporting retention and growth of existing businesses. About You

- You will manage the delivery of LB Hounslow’s attendance at national and international marketing events and conducting national and international marketing to enhance and maintain the profile of the borough and to attract investment.
- You will bring demonstrable experience and success of working within the arena of inward investment and local economy.
- You will have experience of analytical, project and programme management skills, as well as a track record of managing budgets and commercial acumen in relation to raising external funding and sponsorship.
- You will have experience of developing networks and building relationships with developers, investors, key stakeholders, and businesses.
- You will have knowledge of the property markets, a knowledge of factors driving business relocation decisions and well-developed marketing and selling skills.
