Working as part of the Communications, Culture and Engagement Division, you will identify new opportunities, build high‑value partnerships and develop compelling commercial propositions that generate sustainable revenue while delivering benefits for residents and businesses.

You will work with senior leaders, Members and external partners to position Hounslow as a destination for events, investment and commercial collaboration.

This is far more than a sales leadership role.

You will influence pricing strategies, shape new products, negotiate strategic partnerships, use market intelligence to inform decisions and ensure commercial activity supports the Council's wider ambitions around place‑making, culture, economic growth and social value.

As a member of Hounslow's Leadership Group, you will help shape organisational priorities, champion innovation and play an active role in the wider leadership of the Council.

Qualifications

  • You build trusted relationships quickly and are comfortable negotiating with senior stakeholders, commercial partners and investors to create long‑term value.
  • You understand how to balance commercial ambition with governance, reputation and social value, and can operate confidently within a complex organisation.
  • You inspire high‑performing teams, creating an environment where people are empowered to innovate, collaborate and achieve ambitious goals.
  • You are excited by the opportunity to shape the future of one of London's most diverse and dynamic boroughs, helping generate income that supports better services and stronger communities.
