About The Role
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the Resident Experience and Localities Team as a Content Design Officer. The Content Design Officer will be responsible for supporting the Content Design Lead/Web Services Lead in ensuring the content and design of Hounslow.gov.uk, Hounslow Connect and other digital channels, is accurate, meets accessibility standards, and aligns to the web services strategy. A key aspect of the role will be to work with internal colleagues and partner organisations, including the Voluntary and Community Sector to ensure that information presented on Hounslow.gov.uk, and Hounslow Connect is up to date, useful, usable, and meets all required accessibility standards including the Public Sector Bodies Accessibility Regulations 2018. The Content Design Officer will be reporting to the Content Design Lead.
About The Team Youâll Be Working In
The Resident Experience and Localities Service provides a One Hounslow approach to resident contact by having a unified front door where statutory duties are checked, safeguarding issues are identified, and there is an early help approach to those residents where there is still a presenting need or a future risk. We provide a positive, consistent and inclusive experience when contacting Hounslow via any of its access channels, ensuring first point of contact resolution wherever possible. Our teams empower residents to access and request services online, whilst our in-person services are designed to provide holistic support to those who need it the most. Resident Experience and Localities put residents at the heart of everything we do and strive to evolve our offer as residents' and communities' expectations and needs change.
About You
