About The Role
- To deliver and assess engaging and motivating high quality teaching and learning, which will enable learners to achieve their proposed learning outcomes.
- To maintain the necessary teaching and learning documentation i.e. E-registers, schemes of work, records of assessment and achievement.
- To adhere to and fully implement the principles and responsibilities of the Equality and Diversity Policy, in all aspects and duties of the role.
About The Team You’ll Be Working In
Hounslow Adult and Community Education (known as Learn Hounslow) delivers the council’s Adult Education Budget allocation, which funds a range of learning opportunities to help adults develop their knowledge, skills and confidence so they can re-skill, up-skill, move into work, improve their prospects and support their families.
We are currently seeking to increase our part-time sessional tutor panel, and invite suitably qualified and experienced tutors with a passion for their specialist subject and the ability to engage with adults in a positive manner to deliver and assess learning. On vocational courses at L2 and above this could involve assessing competence in the workplace depending on the needs of the team. Teaching and Learning with HACE takes place both in our centres, as well as online in ‘live’ timetabled sessions.
About You

Qualifications Required For The Role:
- Subject Specialism and Teaching qualifications of at least Level 3 for all subjects; Teaching Qualification Level 5 is essential for ESOL, English and Maths.
- Qualifications in English and Maths skills at Level 2 or equivalent.
- Experience relevant to teaching, learning and assessment.
