About You
We are seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable professional who is passionate about embedding innovative approaches to SEND support across our local area. To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A proven track record of managing a busy team and leadership qualities, with the ability to think outside of the box and be solution focused.
- A strong understanding of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) legislation, including the Children and Families Act 2014 and the SEND Code of Practice.
- Experience handling SEND Appeals, Tribunals, and formal Mediations.
- Knowledge of recent developments in SEND case law and best practices.
- A high standard of communication both orally and written.
