You are adept at leading and coordinating parental appeals and can represent the Local Authority confidently. What the Job Involves

This role requires you to lead and manage the council's parental appeals to the Special Educational Needs and Disability Tribunal (SENDIST). You will coordinate the associated processes, procedures, and data, specifically for the London Borough of Hillingdon appeals. You are responsible for case managing individual appeals, engaging key partners in preparation for hearings, representing the Local Authority, and ensuring compliance with Orders. You will act as an expert advisor on all aspects of SENDIST and support the local area and stakeholders in fulfilling their duties. In-office presence is required on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with the option to work additional days as preferred.
