About The Job
The main duties and responsibilities of this role are:
- Developing and maintaining a comprehensive product strategy and roadmap.
- Leading the planning, development, and launch of new products and features.
- Collaborating closely with IT, business stakeholders, and users to gather and prioritize product requirements, ensuring their needs are understood and addressed.
- Managing the product backlog and working with agile development teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Defining and tracking key product performance indicators and using data to drive decision-making.
- Acting as the primary point of contact for product-related inquiries and communications.
- Ensuring product compliance with Havering UX and EA standards, as well as industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
- Assessing and enhancing business user readiness for upcoming changes, including identifying gaps and implementing action plans before go-live.
- Supporting the user community through transition support and change planning, with effective communication between users and project teams.
- Assessing risks associated with proposed changes and managing actions to minimize impact on services.
- Leading risk identification, assessment, and ongoing monitoring.
- Leading, motivating, and inspiring team members, facilitating dialogue on expectations, progress, performance, and development needs.
About You
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A degree or equivalent work-related experience.
- Relevant certifications based on skills requirements.
- Proven experience in product management.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing product lifecycles.
- Experience contributing to policy and strategy development and implementation.
- Ability to perform complex activities across technical, financial, and quality domains.
- Deep expertise in relevant specialisms with an understanding of their broader impact.
- Knowledge of industry developments and the role of technology.
- Business knowledge of organizational activities and external market factors.
- Strong leadership skills and risk mitigation capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating objectives to both technical and non-technical audiences.
