Advanced Practitioner – Specialist Safeguarding (Grade 9)
Salary £54267-£58461pa (plus £4k MS payment).
Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of children and families? We are seeking an experienced Advanced Practitioner – Specialist Safeguarding to join our dedicated team and lead on complex safeguarding cases.
About The Role
- Provide expert advice and guidance on safeguarding to colleagues across Children’s Services.
- Lead on complex cases, ensuring robust risk assessments and effective safety planning.
- Support and mentor social workers, promoting best practice and continuous professional development.
- Work collaboratively with multi‑agency partners to ensure the highest standards of safeguarding.
- Contribute to policy development and service improvement initiatives.
About You
- Qualified social worker with current registration (SWE or equivalent).
- Significant experience in child protection and safeguarding.
- Advanced knowledge of legislation, statutory guidance, and best practice.
- Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
- Commitment to improving outcomes for children and families.
