Are you passionate about transforming data into actionable insights? Join our dynamic Insight team as a Business Intelligence Analyst! In this role, you will leverage your analytical skills to interpret complex data, create compelling visualisations, and ensure that services can make evidence-based decisions. Ideal candidates will have strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills and experience of the following:

  • Extensive experience of the Microsoft Business Intelligence stack, primarily Power BI, Dataflows and SQL Server.
  • Experience of using SQL and Power Query (M) to extract, transform and model data.
  • Knowledge and understanding of data modelling schema (e.g. one big table, star schema, snowflake schema).
  • Experience of using DAX to analyse data.
  • Experience of sharing Power BI reports in a secure manner.
  • Previous experience of working with adult social care data including social care finance data (desirable).

About the role

This role reports to the Insight Manager. Your primary focus will be to extract and transform adult social care data, including finance data, to create Power BI reports. An important aspect of the role will be to work alongside service and performance teams to share knowledge and build organisational capacity. You will be working from home for the majority of the time; however, there may be the occasional requirement to attend meetings or events in person.
