About the Role

As a Support and Well-Being Worker, you'll deliver essential, needs-led services across our supported housing schemes and within the wider community. You'll provide coordinated and structured support to help residents sustain their tenancies. This role is crucial in empowering individuals to achieve greater independence, positive mental and physical wellbeing, and improved social and financial inclusion, ultimately enhancing their quality of life. Please note, this role does not involve providing personal care to tenants.

About You

You're a highly organised and empathetic individual with a solid understanding of the housing support needs of older and disabled people, including the benefits of a personalised, outcome-focused service. You grasp the concept of housing-related support and are passionate about empowering individuals to help themselves. You possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling you to effectively network and collaborate with a wide range of audiences, including clients, colleagues, and external agencies. You're adept at managing your workload, making decisions, and meeting deadlines, always mindful of confidentiality and data protection. While experience working directly with older people or those needing support is beneficial, your ability to conduct needs assessments and manage risks is key. You're also experienced in joint working and liaison with external statutory and voluntary agencies.
