About the Role
The primary purpose of this role is to support the Haringey Council’s Repairs Team by ensuring the efficient and cost-effective delivery of high-quality, customer-focused maintenance stores materials and plant services. This role is crucial in facilitating the Repairs Service to deliver exceptional repair services through the effective management and distribution of plant and materials.
Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining and utilising both manual and computer-based systems to ensure smooth operations.
- Strict adherence to financial regulations, standing orders, and stores procedures concerning the issuance and return of materials and plant.
- General indoor and outdoor housekeeping to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- The ability to drive a vehicle, with a full UK driving licence required.
