About the role
The Housing Related Support Team are leading on the delivery of new services for single homeless people affected by homelessness in Haringey. This is an opportunity to be part of an exciting accommodation that provides 24hr support to women affected by homelessness. As a Project Worker you will be responsible for a caseload of clients with the aim to comprehensively assess needs, assets, risks and work in partnership to identify future housing options. You will be responsible for supporting the residents understand their rights and responsibilities in managing their accommodation. Working as part of a team in partnership with specialist services and practitioners, you will help to deliver the service. You will be proactive in identifying opportunities for residents to connect with and participate in the local community to foster good relations between those living at the service and those living and working in the local area.

About you
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated Project Worker at our women’s supported housing service – Burgoyne Road. As the post-holder, you will be working in partnership with the rest of the Housing Related Support team, multidisciplinary teams, specialist staff and external partners.
Due to the nature of the role and the need to provide a safe and supportive environment for our service users, this position is restricted to female applicants only, in accordance with Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010.
