About the Role
We are looking for a full time Early Years Officer who is highly creative, passionate, inspirational, and energetic to take the lead in developing and motivating a high level of care, learning, play and education for children aged 2 years to rising 5 year olds. We are excited to find a new team member to join our experienced team for the next exciting phase of our development. This will be a great opportunity for you to be part of our vision in being a beacon of outstanding childcare and education in the Local Authority.

About You
Applicants must hold a Level 3 qualification in Children\'s Care Learning and Development or an equivalent, along with proven experience supporting young children. They should demonstrate a deep understanding of child development, the EYFS framework, and individual learning styles, while confidently engaging with families through empathetic, collaborative approaches. Strong leadership is essential, with at least three years\' experience in team management and mentoring, paired with the ability to actively reflect and enhance practice in real time. Ideal candidates will be exemplary role models, skilled in observation and responsive to children\'s interests and voices. They must exhibit excellent teamwork, initiative, and forward-thinking approaches, with a strong dedication to promoting high-quality childcare and safeguarding children\'s welfare. Proficiency in literacy and written communication is also key to the role
