Within the Housing & Neighbourhoods department, we aim to be efficient in everything that we do. We are committed to improving housing standards and ensuring residents have access to safe, secure and high-quality homes. This is an exciting time to be joining us as we reshape the regulation of our private rented sector. With over 30,000 private rented homes in the borough and rising expectations following major legislative reform, the Private Sector Housing Service is undergoing a major transformation to become more proactive, tenant-focused and intelligence-driven, supported by expanded staffing and service redesign.
As part of an expanded, dynamic and high-performing team, we are seeking an officer experienced in private rented sector regulation to provide expert advice and support, lead complex casework and enforcement, and contribute towards the effective implementation of a new service structure. Role duties will include providing technical leadership, mentoring and quality assurance, while contributing to policy, systems and service improvements.
