Role Overview
The Service Charge Financial Coordinator will calculate service charges, reserve funds, shared ownership and ground rent, support payment functions, manage the service charge database and financial records, prepare performance reports, monitor budget, liaise with auditors and regulatory bodies.
Responsibilities
- Calculate service charges, reserve funds, shared ownership rent, and ground rent.
- Produce accurate estimated and actual invoices in line with legislation and local policies.
- Maintain and manage the service charge database and associated financial records.
- Support payment functions, including creditor payments and mortgage account activities.
- Prepare performance reports and engage in budget monitoring.
- Liaise with auditors and regulatory bodies to maintain best practices in service charge accounting.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in leasehold management and financial administration.
- Strong understanding of S20 consultation processes and their impact on service charges.
- Proficiency in financial principles and accurate calculations.
- Excellent analytical skills and high level of attention to detail.
- Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
