12 Month Fixed Term Contract / Secondment Opportunity (Maternity Cover)
Can you help us attract the best people that make Hackney a better place for everyone? We are looking for a recruitment coordinator to join our first class recruitment team. Your role will be to provide seamless support to candidates and hiring managers throughout the recruitment process.
This role is for a 12 month fixed term contract. You will facilitate the coordination of the recruitment process by:
- scheduling interviews and assessments,
- liaising directly with candidates,
- conducting pre-employment checks,
- updating and keeping candidates warm at various stages of the recruitment process.
You will also keep in touch with our new starters, ensuring they have a great onboarding experience whilst responding to routine enquiries, managing our busy recruitment line and inbox. You will be confident at presenting in front of others remotely or face to face, as you will be required to facilitate and present on our first day induction for new starters.
Crucially, you will bring demonstrable experience in providing first class administrative support within a busy team. To thrive in this role, you will have a great depth of recruitment administrative processes, whilst being a highly organised person who is able to manage a demanding workload.
We need someone who is flexible and able to plan and prioritise tasks, whilst working under pressure to ensure deadlines are met. As this is a 12 month fixed term contract you will be eager and able to hit the ground running, whilst demonstrating initiative and proactivity. You will have an important role not only in the team as you will often be the first and last point of contact for candidates in their recruitment journey.
