About the Council

Role Overview
The Project Manager will lead change management and adoption activities across the Corporate Transformation Programme, ensuring new processes are embedded and benefits realised.
Responsibilities
- Plan, deliver and monitor a portfolio of projects, ensuring timely completion and alignment with council objectives.
- Champion change management practices to embed new processes and safeguard benefits.
- Develop project plans, budgets, risk registers and status reports for senior leadership.
- Engage stakeholders across council services to secure commitment and support.
- Communicate progress and challenges effectively through written and verbal channels.
Requirements
- Experience in a project or change management role within a local government environment.
- Strong knowledge of project management frameworks (PRINCE2, PMP or Agile).
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining high quality and deadlines.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills.
