We are looking for a Procurement professional to join our team. This role will require some public procurement experience, and experience with procurement systems, frameworks, and procurement projects.
Responsibilities
- Financial services procurement: pensions, debt management, treasury operations, insurance, and actuarial services
- Facilities management: security, cleaning, catering, office relocation
- Vehicle fleet supplies and associated support services
- Temporary accommodation supplies to fulfil statutory obligations related to homelessness
- Human resources, consultancy services and transformation
- Communication, transformation, media and events
- Parking and streetscene
- Manage tenders independently, ensuring regulatory compliance, policy adherence, and priority alignment
- Build fruitful working relationships with diverse stakeholders, exercising prudent judgement and discretion
Requirements
- Experience with public procurement and procurement systems, frameworks, and procurement projects
- Emerging knowledge of public contract regulations
- Good understanding of procurement processes
- Ability to manage tenders independently with an eye for detail
- Strong judgement and discretion
- Ability to build productive working relationships with a diverse stakeholder group
