About the role:

Hackney Museum is seeking a Museum Marketing Officer to join our team during an exciting period of transformation, as we prepare to reopen in spring 2027. This is a pivotal role in a small team. The postholder will lead on delivering marketing, communications and PR campaigns, content, activities and events across digital and print channels to reach new audiences and increase visitor footfall.

  • Produce content, activities and events to attract new audiences.
  • Increase visitor footfall and engagement.

Qualifications:

  • Highly digitally literate.
  • Strong creative skills.
  • Excellent organisational ability.

Contract and Salary:

27‑month fixed‑term contract. Working 21.6 hours per week. Salary Scale 6 £37,509 to £38,637 (pro rata). Funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund and Hackney Council.
