A fantastic opportunity has now opened for a Social Worker to be located in our new Extra‑Familial Harm Team. The designation within the EFH Team will initially be for 2 years.
Responsibilities
- Work as part of a dedicated social‑work‑led team to provide high‑quality interventions for children and families at risk of harm outside the home.
- Collaborate with youth justice colleagues and other multi‑agency partners to develop trauma‑informed, anti‑racist and restorative practice.
- Develop and apply best practice for children experiencing risk outside the home, ensuring timely, effective responses that comply with statutory guidelines.
- Maintain ‘Child First’ principles, model persistence, tenacity, creativity and flexibility, and support positive outcomes for children and families.
- Support the team’s commitment to developing innovative practice and retaining a clear focus on positive outcomes.
Qualifications
- You must hold a Social Work England recognised social work qualification or equivalent, be registered with Social Work England and have evidence of continuing professional development.
- An enhanced DBS check is required.
