As a Reablement Team Leader, your role will be to provide day‑to‑day organisational input, within the framework of supervision by the Registered Manager, to a team of reablement care support workers providing services based within the Provided Services. You will ensure good quality, person‑centred care is provided and that the services delivered are acceptable to service users, meet quality standards, meet legislative requirements and achieve best professional practice.

Responsibilities

  • Proven experience of staff supervision is required, combined with experience of creating and managing rotas.
  • Experience of working in a Health and Social Care setting, providing care and support to adults in settings regulated by the Care Quality Commission, and an understanding of how to apply these regulations to ensure the delivery of high‑quality care.
  • Maintain close communication with residents, families, social workers and allied health professionals, conduct quality assurance checks, handle complaints and ensure compliance with health and safety and safeguarding standards.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, participate in team and multi‑disciplinary meetings, contribute to service development and champion best practices within the team.
  • Build and maintain positive and respectful relationships with service users, families, staff, colleagues and representatives of other organisations.
  • Work with the most complex and at‑risk service users, ensuring that their dignity, choice and respect are the cornerstones of all that is done, allowing people to remain as independent as possible.
  • Be available and willing to work shifts as allocated over the seven‑day‑a‑week rota.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Enhanced DBS Check is required.
  • Present the original certificate of your NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience of staff supervision and rota management.
  • Experience in a Health and Social Care setting, exercising knowledge of Care Quality Commission regulations.
